Christmas baking with the Fam.

by Deb McCormick on December 23, 2011

You should have seen my house last night. It was a disaster. There is no denying the fact the kids are on Christmas vacation. But so be it! I will no longer fight it and will just deal with the clutter, toys, and mess all over the floor. But just know that it is killing me. Order, I want ORDER!!  Anyway moving on…yesterday we baked in the kitchen. Mimi and Audrey joined us.

This picture cracks me up because it looks just like Olivia is sticking dough up her nose.

Busy little hands

Audrey – in all her goofy glory.

And this is the moment I hope never happens again. I walked in the laundry room and realized my 3 year old had been playing with my mom’s Nikon D70 camera. I see the camera laying on the floor. Then today as I’m editing pictures I see these.

sigh…kids! Thank goodness nothing was broken and the camera is OK. And now you know what my laundry room and hallway looks like. See my vacuum? It is still there today.

And last, but not least – I must share my son’s craftiness in the kitchen the other day. I think I’ve raised him well. As long as he can manage things like this in the kitchen he should do fine while he is living the single life. Hi Trey!

From our family to your family – Have a Merry Christmas everyone!

Christmas cookies are such a fond memory. We still make them with mom whenever we get the chance. Those white cookies you finished with look so very gourmet – I bet their delish! Merry Christmas, enjoy your time as a family.

We are making some cookies today. LOL on vacuum—it is comforting to know that I am not the only one who parks it somewhere and leaves it!

Those cookies look delish. Happy family moments. (Except for missing camera moment.)
