Is it Valentines day or “Un-Valentines” day for you?

There are a lot of people who have “un-valentines day celebrations. Because 1) they may have recently broken up with their other, or 2)they are blissfully happy in a relationship but hate valentines day just because. I have to admit to being #2. Maybe hate is a wrong word…I would say dislike and thinking it is a big waste. I don’t get all the decorations of pink and red (which clash, by the way), and the money spent for flowers to be sent to the work place which really when you think about it, is just sent out of obligation.

So I am the Bah humbug of Cupid. I don’t care about flowers, or a valentines day heart box full of candy. Maybe it’s the fact that my husband sent me sugar free candy last year. But no matter what the reasons truly are, it’s just not that big a deal to me…and if I’m honest, I think it is a cheesy holiday.

But, I know a lot of you love this day. So JUST for you I have put together a short video to try and show you what you mean to me. Thanks for reading my blog, commenting, and being my bloggy friends this past year.

Happy Valentines Day! No, Seriously. I mean it.
