My ZeroWater Pitcher

I was very happy the other day when I opened my door and saw a box. My Zero Water Pitcher was here! And if you are unsure what this is, it is an Ion Exchange water filtration system that removes all dissolved solids from tap water. (I received this ZeroWater pitcher to facilitate my review – but all opinions and verbiage written in this post are mine)

ZeroWater filters are the only filters that meet FDA definition for TDS(total dissolved solids) in purified bottled water. This means you get bottled water quality and taste right from your own pitcher instead of buying it from the store. It’s sort of yucky to think I am drinking stuff in my water that isn’t visible to the naked eye. But the ZeroWater pitcher removes all this and leaves me with pure water. That is a good feeling!

There is also a TDS checker. I tested my tap water and my TDS was at 0.56. I then ran this water through the filtered pitcher and tested it again.

It was 0.00. So the filter definitely does what it is supposed to do.

If this interests you, you can read more about this system at ZeroWater is also offering you a 30% off coupon. The code is MC30.

Oh and have you ever made your own flavored water?

I found a few pointers on how to do this at the following websites. It makes me want to do this NOW.
