Being a mom, particularly if it’s your first time, is a tricky and often exhausting time management challenge. If you are fashion lover though, you don’t have to let the challenges of motherhood stop you from keeping up with the trends.
It only takes a few simple shortcuts to keep yourself looking fashionable and on top of things, no matter how little time you actually feel like you have.
Choose Simple Styles

When you have little free time the easiest thing to do is just throw on a baggy tshirt and comfy pants – but with a bit of planning it can be just as easy to throw on a stylish smock with some jeggins (or whatever you prefer).
Try to think carefully about ease of wearing when you buy clothes – if an item is going to take more than 2 seconds thought to match up to an outfit then forget it. Sticking with simple but effective styles will take all of the time out of choosing what to wear and you’ll look fab in a really effortless way.
Go Online
With a newborn, sometimes going out of the house just isn’t worth the effort. Fortunately you can have your dressing room in the comfort of your own house.
To save time, discover for yourself a handful of sites that sell clothes you like, book mark them and set aside 30 minutes every month or two to have a quick browse.
To save even more time (and because it is just brilliant fun), buy everything you think you might like, no thinking necessary, then when they arrive have a trying on session, pick the best and return the rest for a full refund!
Wear Sensible Shoes
Sensible shoes don’t have to be boring – thing is though, most moms don’t walk around in killer heals all the time, it’s just not practical.
Rather than waste money on shoes that you’ll never wear, get some pretty but comfortable shoes that you will wear and avoid falling into the trap of just wearing sneakers “because they’re easy”.
Accessorize
Jazzing up your outfits with accessories is easy, and if you stick to simple clothes as suggested above you can still throw in a lot of effortless variety by investing in a few scarves, wraps or whatever else.
