When my triplets were about 18 months old, I left my corporate job to stay home with the kids. I won’t get into much of the dramatic history behind this decision, but let’s just say that a week in the hospital after emergency surgery for a perforated stomach ulcer was the deciding factor that I could no longer Do It All. Luckily the company I left offered me a part time position from the comfort of my own home. And I took it. Who wouldn’t?
What I love most is I can look like this. No makeup. T-shirt and yoga pants. And I can make a conference call to my clients after my appointment with my 4 year old’s Hairs R Us salon.
And no one on the other end of the line has any idea.

Wow! You actually put on a tee shirt and yoga pants? I broke down and did a meeting in a ratty sweater and flannel nightgown. Congrats to you for being so professional while working at home….
hahahaha – thanks Carol. You need to “work” on your professional at home attire. I’m disappointed in you. lol

Well, if I have to choose between getting my hair done by my 3 year-old or my makeup, hair’s a much better choice. Thankful you don’t video conference? But those bow colors do compliment your skin tone nicely. Still, how great that you have a job you can do from home to be there for your kids.
